Although Joan has worked at some of the most prestigious financial services companies in New York City she always found the time to do someone’s make-up or hair.
Joan is also a member of the National Cosmetology Association(NCA) which is the world's largest association of beauty and salon professionals.She is also a member of the National Association of Female Executives(NAFE).
Joan decided to pursue her passion of beauty care by enrolling at and graduating from the prestigious Jon Louis School of Beauty Culture in New York City in 1994. She is licensed to practice Cosmetology (Beauty Science) in New York State and she also has a business degree with a major in Human Resource Management from the American Intercontinental University in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Joan’s love of the beauty industry led her to research starting a line of color cosmetics and skincare products which would be of the highest quality but would also be affordable to regular working women. After 3 years of extensive research and working with a NYC based chemist the CLEAR RIVER COSMETICS line of beauty products was born.
As stated by Joan “when a customer buys our products, they are getting quality products which are safe for their skin and the environment but which are affordably priced”. Joan knows how hard it is for most women to take time to beautify themselves or shop for makeup. Clear River Cosmetics offers an easy solution to this problem by creating a fabulous online store with hundreds of cosmetics and skincare products to choose from which are just a click away.
